This research aimed to increase the students’ English vocabulary at the second year students of MTs Syekh Yusuf Sungguminasa Gowa and expected to be useful information to increase teaching of English vocabulary especially at junior and sonior high school. This research is limited to the use of picture dictionary through direct method is a kinesthetic activity that invoves all students in the class and that facilitates short exchange between students.

The researcher would use two variable in this research as follows: improving vocabulary through direct method (X) is the independent variable and the students’ English vocabulary (Y) is dependent variable of the research. This research use one instrument that is test would administrate before that treatments to get data on the student prior knowledge, while post-test we would gave to the students after the last treatments to get data in the impact of through direct method. The total number of populations were 50 students.

The researcher applied purposive sampling techniques, named class VIII consist of 20 student. The researcher done the research during the four meeting. The result ot this research showed that the second year students of MTs Syekh Yusuf Sungguminasa Gowa had a “poor” achievement before improving vocabulary through direct method applied. After this method applied the students’ had “very good”achievement. It can be seen from the result of student’ post-test is higher than the result of student’ pre-test it means that direct method is effective in increasing the students vocabulary.

This research aimed at improving the students speaking ability through Aptitude Treatment Interactions of the second year of SMKN 1 Ende Flores. The problems statement were; 1. How students’ speaking ability can be improved through Aptitude Treatment Interaction learning strategy at the second year of SMK Negri 1 Ende Flores. 2. How is the effectiveness of learning through Aptitude Treatment Interaction at the second year of SMK Negeri Ende Flores.

The objective of the research was to find out the effectiveness of using Aptitude Treatment Interaction to improve the Students’ Speaking Ability. The researcher applied Action Research. The population of the researcher was the second year of SMKN 1 Ende Flores which consisted of 324 students. The researcher used purposive sampling technique which took the second year as the sample namely 36 students.. The data were collected and analyzed by using t-test and were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively.

The result of the research showed that the second year students had fair score in pre-test. After the treatment, their speaking significantly improved. The data analyzed using t-test showed that the value of the t-test was higher than the value of the t-table (25,300>1,70). Therefore, It can be said that Aptitude Treatment Interaction is effective to improve the students’ speaking ability.

Using Brain Gym Technique to Improve the Students’ English Achievement at the Second Year of SMP Muhammadiyah 14 Makassar

This research was an experimental research using one group pre-test and post-test design, which was aimed at finding out the students’ English achievement in using Brain Gym technique at the second year students of SMP Muhammadiyah 14 Makassar.

The Population of this research was the second year students of SMP Muhammadiyah 14 Makassar. The writer used Total sampling technique to take class that consisted of 30 students. The method of this research was experimental method. The data was analyzed by using mean score, standard deviation and t-test.

The result of research shows that (1) the mean score obtained by the students through pre-test was 59.96 and post-test was 71.36, it shows that the students’ achievement after being taught using Brain Gym Technique at the second year students of SMP Muhammdiyah 14 Makassar is improve.(2) the t-table value was higher than the t-test (9.11 > 2.045). It means that there is a significant difference between the result of the students’ pre-test and post-test where their achievement in using Brain Gym technique.

Dakwah sebagai upaya sosialisasi dan internalisasi ajaran Islam yang mengalami perkembangan, baik dalam tataran metode, strategi, maupun modelnya. perkembangan dakwah dilakukan oleh berbagai organisasi sosial keagamaan dengan menempuh berbagai corak, takterkecuali jamaah tabligh.

Dalam penyusunan skripsi ini, penulis akan mengeksplorasi jamaah tabligh, mulai dari peranannya, metode dakwahnya hingga faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat kegiatan dakwah jamaah tabligh di desa Loka kecamatan Ulu Ere kabupaten Bantaeng.

Lingkungan hidup memberikan kontribusi signifikant pada sikap individu dan perilaku dalam bermasyarakat. Oleh karena itu penelitian tentangperanan jamaah tabligh dalam meningkatkan semangat keagamaanmasyarakat di desa Loka kecamatan Ulu Ere kabupaten Bantaengtidak dapat didasarkan hanya pada keterlibatan masyarakat dalam kelompok jamaah tabligh tersebut, karena gerakan agama hanyalah salah satu dari berbagai jenis gerakan sosial.

Penelitian inisecara khusus ditujukan terhadap peran jamaah tabligh di desa Loka dalam meningkatkan semangat keagamaan masyarakatdengan metode dakwah yang didasarkan pada pendekatan fenomenologi dan psikologis, dimana masyarakat Loka pada umumnya adalah masyarakat yang minim pendidikan, sehingga hadirnya organisasi keagamaan yang bisa mencerahkan dan membuka pola pikir mereka akan direspon dengan mudah.

Maka berangkat dari respon masyarakat itulah sehingga penulis pengadakan penelitin dengan hasil yang ingin dicapai adalah mengetahui sejauh mana peran jamaah tabligh dalam meningkatkan semangat keagamaan masyarakat di desa Loka.

Skripsi ini berjudul “Peranan Muballighah dalam Memotivasi Remaja Puteri berbusana Muslimah di Desa Kalimporo Kecamatan Bangkala Kabupaten Jeneponto”.

Penelitian ini bertolak dari rumusan masalah yaitu (1) Sejauh mana peranan Muballighah dalam memotivasi remaja puteri berbusana Muslimah di Desa Kalimporo Kecamatan Bangkala Kabupaten Jeneponto. (2) Bagaimana pelaksanaan tabliqh terhadap Remaja Puteri di Desa Kalimporo Kecamatan Bangkala Kabupaten Jeneponto. (3) Bagaimana pengamalan Busana Muslimah oleh Remaja Puteri di Desa kalimporo Kecamatan Bangkala Kabupaten Jeneponto.

Adapun metode yang penulis pergunakan dalam skripsi ini meliputi pendekatan penelitian, rancangan penelitian lokasi penelitian/kehadiran penelitian populasi dan sampel, sumber data yang terdiri atas data kepustakaan, data lapangan. Selanjutnya adalah pengumpulan data yang meliputi observasi, daftar angket, interview, dokumnetasi, studi sedangkan teknik analisa dengan menggunakan frekuensi dan jumlah individu selanjutnya adalah pengecekan keabsahan data.

Pembahasan dalam sksipsi ini memuat beberapa teori tentang peranan muballigah dalam memotivasi Remaja Puteri Berbusana Muslimah dan pelaksanaan tabliqh bagi Remaja Puteri, selanjutnya pengalaman busana muslimah bagi Remaja Puteri. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di ketahui bahwa peranan muballigah dalam memotivasi Remaja Puteri berbusana muslimah di desa Kalimporo Kecamatan Bangkala Kabupaten Jeneponto. Muballigah sangat berperan dengan melaksanakan kegiatan pengajian juga disampaikan ceramah-ceramah agama. Pelaksanaan tabliqh bagi remaja puteri pelaksanaan da'wanya dilaksanakan secara lisan dan secara tertulis melalui membaca buku-buku agama, Koran dan majalah. Pengalaman busana muslimah bagi remaja puteri memakai busana muslimah demi untuk menutup aurat.

This research aimed to find out what vowel sounds are difficult to be pronounced by the students and what factors make the students difficult to pronounce the English vowel at the third year of SMAN 1 Pitumpanua Wajo regency. It employed a descriptive method that consisted of two kinds of instruments, there were oral test that consisted of 30 items and questionnaire that included 10 items.

The subjects of the research was the third year students of SMAN 1 Pitumpanua Wajo Regency in academic year 2009-2010 namely class XII 1 IPA that consisted of 30 students. The data were collected through questionnaire and oral test, and were analyzed qualitatively and quantatively.

The result of the research showed that the students of SMAN 1 Pitumpanua Wajo Regency got some English vowel difficult to pronounce, The English vowel sound which difficult to pronounce by the students are: /i:/, /u:/, /É™/ and /Λ/. The result of the research through questionnaire showed that the factor made the students of SMAN 1 Pitumpanua Wajo Regency difficult to pronounce the English vowels are: (1). The objective of this research was to what extent is the effectiveness of using contextual guessing techniques in improving the reading comprehension of the Second Grade Students’ of MTsN Bangkala, Kab. Jeneponto.

This research employed quasi-experimental method using two groups: pre-test and post-test design. The VIIIA class was treated as the experimental class and the VIIIB treated as the control class. There were two variables used in this research: independent variable (the use of contextual guessing techniques) and dependent variable (the students' reading comprehension).

The population of this research was at the Second Grade of MTsN Bangkala, Kab. Jeneponto academic year 2012/2013. There were three classes and each class consisted of 20-25 students. The total number of population was 65 students. The writer used purposive sampling technique and took VIIIA classes and VIIIB classes as sample of this research. The total number of sample was 40 students.

This research employed the test of reading as the instrument of data collection. The result of this test was used to assess to what extent the effectiveness of using contextual guessing techniques in improving the students' reading comprehension. After several meetings, this research found that the use of contextual guessing techniques was significantly effective in the learning process text guessing.

Based on the findings, the writer concluded that, at the second grade of MTsN Bangkala, the use of Contextual Guessing Technique was effective in improving the reading comprehension of the Second Grade students' of MTsN Bangkala. The effectiveness can be seen through the statistical analysis that t-test value that was 6.1, greater than t-table value 2.021. The result of this research was (1) the mean score obtained by students through pre-test of experimental group was 53.15 and pre-test of control group was 50.3 and post-test of experimental group was 76.25 and post-test of control group was 58.7. (2) The t-test value was higher than t-table (6.1>2.021). It means that, there was a significant difference between the result of the students’ pre-test and post-test. Therefore, hypothesis Ho was rejected and H1was accepted.
